Grab your Hank Drum & Ghungroo, and Dance on Over to the World Rhythm Festival

Drum Circle

23rd Annual World Rhythm Festival
Seattle, WA

April 8-10, 2016

It would appear as though the bucket which holds my list may have a hole in it.  The more I research "must do" festivals, the longer my list grows; So many festivals, so little time...

When I think festival, my thoughts tend to meander, and shift to strangely primitive beats reverberating in the endless catacombs of my mind. You know of what I speak; Those strangely familiar sounds pulsating like thunder, until you are rendered helpless with no alternative but to break out in fluid flowing free-spirited movement.  If this is you, the annual Wold Rhythm Festival just may be the ticket.

The World Rhythm Festival is a production of the Seattle World Percussion Society. SWPS was founded in 1994 to produce the annual World Rhythm Festival, and to generally promote education and participation in world music drumming and dancing activities for people of all ages and backgrounds.

If you would like to perform, volunteer, or spectate more information is available on the website:
